This project is the result of collaboration with a passionate architect who spent quite z lot of his time in Ivory Coast and wanted to showcase the artistic talents of this cherished country.
We aimed to materialize his vision by listening to his aspirations and incorporating elements representative of Ivorian culture.
For the user, a journey within this virtual gallery was designed to provide a gradual immersion into this world, guiding them to explore even the smallest details of these works of art
With Galerie AILE SUD, we hope to foster cultural exchanges and promote the recognition of local talents.
During the design phase of this project, we paid special attention to the aspirations and desires of our client, aiming to best translate their vision and memories associated with Ivory Coast.
One of the key elements that emerged from our discussions is the laterite color, symbolizing the African soil and evoking a warm and authentic atmosphere.

LOGO
This logo, highly symbolic, is a fusion, creating the union of two artistic worlds coming together
Upper half-circle
Segment of the Masque Soleil, a mask originating from West Africa believed to protect against evil spirits and promote marriage and health.
Inferior architecture
Piece of the facade from the gallery of Château de Oiron , a Renaissance castle located in the South of the Loire (and National Center for Contemporary Art), near which the founder of the Gallery spent his childhood.
Thus, this logo with the arches, entrance of the lower building, and the mask symbolizing Africa, invites exploration and discovery.
USER EXPERIENCE
Storytelling
Similar to an actual visit to a gallery, we have created different sections to bring the user’s journey even closer to reality.
First, they discover the facade of the building, formalized by the gallery’s logo.
Then, they approach the entrance, inviting them to take action: ‘ENTER, DISCOVER, MEET.’
The choice of the pattern symbolizes an antechamber before the exhibition halls, allowing a gradual transition with the subtle discovery of details, atmospheres, and the universe they are about to observe.
Finally, the gallery is revealed, filled with flagship works from each of the gallery’s artists.
